My 3 1/2 month old only drinks 2-3 ounces of formula is that normal? My friend's 6 week old son will take 6 ounces at a time and eats a lot more often than my daughter. I guess she's gaining weight fine but isn't she supposed to drink mor than that by now?
How often does she eat? I mean if she is eating 2-3 ounces every 2-3 hours, then that should be fine. As long as she is gaining weight and the docs aren't worried, I wouldn't worry. Babies are all different and they go through different spurts of growth.....She maybe has plateaued at an eating and will start consuming TONS! My sone is 4 1/2 months, and he hates morning eatings and will only eat in the afternoon and evening....He sometimes will only eat an ounce every 4 hours! He weighs almost 18 pounds now so he is definitely not starving! HA! YOu could always call your ped if you are extremely concerned.
